Privacy
This is a personal site. I'm Angela Sauret Güeto, I run it from Barcelona, and I'm responsible for what it does with your data. Write to angelasg.design@pm.me about anything on this page.
The chat on the home page
The chat is an AI, not me. It answers from what I've published on this site and can get things wrong. When you use it, I keep the conversation: your questions, its answers and the time they were sent, tied together by a random id that lives only in your browser tab. I don't store your IP address, your browser details or your name, unless you write them in a question. Please don't.
I keep conversations so I can read what people want to know and improve the answers. That is my legitimate interest in running the chat well (GDPR article 6.1.f). Each conversation deletes itself 90 days after its last message.
When the chat can't answer a question about me, the question alone, without the rest of the conversation, is sent to me as a private note so I can add the answer to the site. I delete it once I have.
Who else handles it
- Anthropic writes the chat's answers. Your messages are sent to its API to do that.
- Upstash stores the conversations for the 90 days.
- GitHub holds the private notes with unanswered questions.
- Vercel hosts the site. Its servers see your IP address briefly to limit how many questions one visitor can ask, and Vercel Analytics counts visits without cookies.
- Microsoft Clarity records anonymous page interactions so I can see how the site is used. It sets cookies, so it only runs if you allow it in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The chat field and conversation are masked from its recordings.
Some of these companies process data outside the EU, under the safeguards the GDPR requires.
Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct or delete a conversation, or object to it being kept. Write to angelasg.design@pm.mewith roughly when you used the chat and what you asked, and I'll find it and delete it. You can also contact your data protection authority.
